The Spanish company's customers can fly to 16 new U.S. destinations via New York, Chicago, Dallas and Miami.

Since 23 July, when they begin to operate the flights, Iberia customers can fly to 16 new destinations in the United States in code share with American Airlines via Chicago, Dallas, Miami and New York. Specifically the new destinations are:

     • Fort Lauderdale
     • Kansas Manhattan, Rochester and Toledo via Chicago.
     • Portland, Louisville, Baton Rouge, Chatttanooga, Corpus Christi, Lake Charles, Laredo, Reno and            
        Savannah, via Dallas.
     • Gainesville, Greensboro and Birmingham via Miami.

The members of frequent flyer programs of Iberia and American Airlines will also benefit from the agreement that both companies remain in the service, accumulated and redeem miles, as well as increase opportunities and access to more joint promotions.

These new flights are part of the joint business agreement between Iberia, American Airlines and British Airways among jointly to market routes between Europe and the North Atlantic. The three companies now offer their customers more destinations, more frequencies, a greater variety of schedules and better connections.
