We are proud to announce the debut of the A321 XLR in our long-haul fleet, beginning June 2024. This state-of-the-art aircraft enables us to strengthen our long-haul network by operating transoceanic routes with a single-aisle (narrow-body) aircraft.

- Cabin configuration: The A321 XLR features two cabins – Business, with 14 Thompson seats that convert into beds, and Economy, offering 168 seats of the latest Recaro model, the CL3810. Each seat includes amenities such as 12-inch 4K quality screens, an advanced entertainment system with Bluetooth headphone connections, and in-house lighting adjustable to suit the ambiance.

- Efficiency and sustainability: Iberia is the first airline to operate the A321 XLR, renowned for its efficiency and sustainability. It boasts 30% less fuel consumption per passenger compared to wide-body (twin-aisle) models.

- Enhanced comfort and convenience: Passengers benefit from up to 60% more hand luggage storage capacity, spacious luggage compartments, and seats with a four-inch recline, leatherette headrests, and additional storage pockets for personal items.

- Technology and connectivity: Enjoy free WiFi messaging throughout the flight and opt for paid streaming packages for entertainment, enhancing the onboard experience.
